Where to Watch the World Cup on Long Island

Written by Eric Anderson  |  21. June 2014

The first round of the 2014 FIFA World Cup will be wrapping up on Thursday, which means the best soccer games are still to come. The United States will be playing Portugal at 6 p.m. on Sunday, a perfect time to get down to the bar and support the team. I believe that we will win!

Here are just a few local spots on Long Island that will be showing the games:

Rockwell’s Bar and Grill

Happy hour goes  from noon until 7 p.m., so be sure to show up for the earlier games at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to enjoy twofers on all draft beers, wine and house mixed drinks. There will also be half priced appetizers. Rockwell’s has a full menu and a great selection of beers.
