DNA Marking Kits Still Available for Huntington Station Residents

Huntington Station earlier this week unveiled new signs which have been installed in the area as part of the Applied DNA Pilot Program sponsored by the Suffolk County Legislature.

Huntington Station, NY - June 17, 2016 - Suffolk County Legislator William R. Spencer, M.D., Police Commissioner Tim Sini, Huntington Town Highway Superintendent Pete Gunther, and the SCPD 2nd Precinct joined with community leaders in Huntington Station earlier this week to unveil new signs which have been installed in the area as part of the Applied DNA Pilot Program sponsored by the Suffolk County Legislature.

The signs, which clearly indicate that residents in the neighborhood have access to this new innovative theft combating technology, will serve as a deterrent to criminals who may be considering a burglary. In addition the technology will assist in retuning stolen valuables to their rightful owners.
