Tom Needham's special guest this Thursday on the Sounds of Film at 6 P.M. on WUSB is 10 Cloverfield Lane director, Dan Trachtenberg.

Stony Brook, NY - June 16, 2016 - 10 Cloverfield Lane director, Dan Trachtenberg, will be Tom Needham's special guest this Thursday on the Sounds of Film at 6 P.M. on WUSB. He will be discussing what it was like to work with legendary producer J.J. Abrams and actor John Goodman.  In addition, Trachtenberg will be sharing insights into his unique collaboration with composer Bear McCreary, whose score will be featured on the program. 

He stated, "We are both film music geeks who wanted an older sounding score that reflects the work of Bernard Herrmann and Jerry Goldsmith."

10 Cloverfield Lane is an exciting thriller from Paramount BLU-Rays and DVDs. It features a story about a young woman who is in a terrible car crash and wakes up in a prepper's underground bunker. He claims that he has saved her from some mysterious disaster. As time goes on, though, she starts to question his motives and plans her possible escape. The film stars John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher, Jr.
