Officials Seeking Suspect in Series of Bank Robberies Throughout Nassau County

Police: subject was involved in robberies that occurred in Nassau County on 2/17 in Baldwin, 3/27 in Freeport, 5/9 in Roosevelt, and 5/22 in Oceanside.

Oceanside, NY - June 13, 2017 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 12:42 pm in Oceanside.
 
According to detectives, a male black subject entered the Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union, 45 Atlantic Avenue, approached a teller and passed a demand note. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money the subject fled on foot towards Kenneth Place.
 
He was further described as being in his 30’s and about 5’11” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black knit hat, clear lensed eyeglasses and a blue hooded jacket. No injuries were reported.
 
Be advised the subject is involved with three other robberies that occurred in Nassau County on 2/17/17 in Baldwin, 3/27/17 in Freeport, and 5/09/17/ in Roosevelt.
