Commack, NY — June 13th, 2013 For a decade, thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community members, Girl Scouts of Suffolk County (GSSC) has sent more than 3 Million Girl Scout Cookies to U.S. troops overseas and in military hospitals through Operation:Cookie.

Throughout the years, GSSC has partnered with the military, elected officials and other agencies to ensure that cookies have reached those in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Red Sea, the Naval Hospital and Walter Reed Medical Center.

As GSSC commemorates ten years of sending U.S. military a taste of home, you can be a part of the next shipment of cookies. The cookies you sponsor will be sent in your name and with your personalized message.

Support Operation:Cookie by sponsoring cookies online at www.operationcookie.us    and show U.S. troops that you care!
