Shirley, NY - June 12, 2015 - To promote career awareness among elementary school students, members of the John S. Hobart Elementary School Student Council under the direction of teachers Christine Els and Grace Ryan repainted eight-foot tall wooden cutouts to reflect different career options including architect, construction workers, crossing guard, doctor, firefighter, nurse, police officer, postal worker, teacher and veterinarian. The wooden career professionals have been affixed to the wall of the cafeteria along with the requirements and qualification to attain that position.
