Snow may be heavy at times this morning into early afternoon...before tapering off late this afternoon into this evening. * Visibilities...one quarter mile at times this morning into early afternoon. * Temperatures...mid 30s early this morning...dropping into the lower 20s by afternoon. * Impacts...hazardous travel conditions due to falling temperatures and Road icing...greatly reduced visibilities and significant snow accumulations. Some blowing and drifting snow is possible late this morning through this afternoon. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. SCPD Advisory: Oheka Castle Shooter Wanted for Assault

Suffolk Police looking for person or persons responsible for shooting that took place earlier in the year.

Huntington, NY - June 12, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who were involved in a shooting in Huntington in February.
 
Oheka Castle owner Gary Melius was shot in the head while walking to his car on the grounds of the castle on February 24 at approximately 12:30 p.m. The shooter fled the scene in an older model, light-colored four-door Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
