Queens Duo Nabbed for Searingtown Burglary

Searingtown, NY - June 10th, 2015 - Third Squad detectives report the arrest of two Queens men for a burglary that occurred in Searingtown on Tuesday, 06/09/15 at 5:21 P.M.
 
According to detectives, Christian Forero, 25, of 34th Rd., Flushing and Andres Usman, 23, of 73rd St., Jackson Heights, entered a residence on IU Willets Rd., by breaking the rear sliding glass door.  
 
Witnesses notified police, who located both defendants a short time later, fleeing through rear yards and hiding in a wooded area behind the rear of Elm Drive. Proceeds are unknown at this time.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
Forero and Usman are each being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Possession Burglary Tools. Usman, who was found to be in possession of heroin at the time of his arrest, is additionally being charged with Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th Degree.  

Both defendants will be arraigned on Wednesday, 06/10/15 in First District Court, Hempstead.
