Duo Wanted for Hicksville LIRR Station Mugging

Hicksville, NY - June 10th, 2015 - Second Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 10:25 pm in Hicksville.
 
According to detectives, after exiting the LIRR at the Hicksville Station and walking towards the intersection of Bay Avenue and Woodbury Road, the 27 year old male victim was confronted by two male subjects. 
 
After being struck in the face by one of the males, the other subject displayed a box cutter and demanded the victim’s property. After the victim complied and handed over approximately $120.00 in cash, the subjects fled on foot and were last seen running onto East Barclay Street.
 
The victim, who sustained a contusion and minor bleeding, refused medical attention at the scene. He described one of the subjects as being a black male, 35 years of age, approximately 5’9” tall with black hair and brown eyes. He was unsure of the other male’s race, but was described as being 35 years old and about 5’7” tall.
