NCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Robbing Mineola Capitol One Bank
Mineola, NY - June 9th, 2014 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Mineola on Tuesday, 06/09/14 at 12:20 P.M.
According to detectives, a male subject entered Capital One bank located at 210 Mineola Blvd., approached two tellers and verbally demanded cash. The victims complied and the subject fled on foot, with an undisclosed amount of money, westbound on Lincoln Ave. There were eight employees and four customers in the bank at the time of the robbery.
No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as a male black, 30-40 years of age, 6’-6’3” tall, medium build, wearing a blue scarf, black sunglasses, black hoodie, blue jeans and white sneakers. No further description is available.
