Smithtown residents and visitors from all over braved cloudy skies and the threat of rain to take part in the 28th Annual Smithtown Festival Day on Sunday, June 5th. Though heavy rain did eventually put a damper on things as the day wore on, thousands of people still had a blast as they visited hundreds of vendors booths throughout the morning.

Live bands and local radio stations were there to entertain the crowd as they strolled up and down Main Street, visiting all kinds of local artisans and businesses. A martial arts school even put on a show for passersby as students broke wooden boards and cinder blocks with their bare hands.

Food trucks and popular Smithtown restaurants were there to keep everyone well fed, and there were also booths where visitors could sit down and take a breather while getting a relaxing massage.

The rain may have made for a wet afternoon, but the 28th Annual Smithtown Festival Day still made for an exciting Sunday morning.
