SCPD: Man Shot in Leg During Party
North Amityville, NY - June 2, 2014 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a Copiague man last night.
Jamar Ambrose was attending a party at 8 Avon Drive in North Amityville when he was shot in the leg while standing outside the home. Ambrose, 23, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
