Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Radar estimates that one half to one inch of rain has already fallen, and that additional rainfall of up to one half inch is likely. * Some locations that could experience flooding include... NCPD Alert: Robbery in Franklin Square

A CVS in Franklin Square was robbed at gunpoint.

Franklin Square, NY - May 30, 2014 - The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 3:15 am in Franklin Square.
 
According to detectives, an unknown male black subject approached a 23 year old male clerk working at CVS located at 640 Franklin Avenue and demanded that he open the cash register while displaying a dark colored hand gun. The victim complied and opened the register. The subject then removed an undetermined amount of US currency and fled on foot in an unknown direction with the proceeds. The subject is described as being 5’8” tall, 190 lbs, 20-30 years of age, white T shirt, dark sweat pants, black sneakers, white socks. There were no injuries reported. There were no customers and one employee present at the time.
