Nassau Authorities Seeking Lone Suspect in Roosevelt Bank Robbery

Albany, NY - May 26, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:25 am in Roosevelt.
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, an unknown subject entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union located at 405 Nassau Road, approached a male teller and demanded cash.  The victim complied with an undetermined amount of US currency. The subject then fled the bank on foot west on Henry Street.  
 
The subject is described as a male black in his fifties, approximately 5’5” tall, medium build, medium complexion, wearing wired rimmed glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans, a NY Yankee baseball cap and black sneakers. There were nine employees and four customers inside of the bank at the time of the robbery.  There were no reported injuries.
