Duo Wanted for Stealing $500 in Merchandise from Elwood Barnes & Noble

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who stole merchandise from an Elwood store earlier this month.

Elwood, NY - May 26th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who stole merchandise from an Elwood store earlier this month.

A man and woman entered Sears, located at 4000 Jericho Turnpike, on May 1 and stole assorted merchandise valued at approximately $500. The two fled the store through the adjacent Barnes and Noble store and were confronted by security personnel outside of Barnes and Noble. They dropped the items and fled in a tan Buick sedan westbound on Jericho Turnpike.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
