SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Robbing Farmingville TFCU Bank

Farmingville, NY - May 20th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Farmingville this afternoon.

A man entered the Teacher’s Federal Credit Union, located at 2410 North Ocean Ave., approximately 3:40 p.m.  The suspect approached a teller, produced a note demanding cash and fled foot.

The robber is described as a white male with a thin-build, between 30 and 35-years-old and between 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall.  He had a goatee and was wearing tan-colored pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
