Middle Island NY, May 2013 – On Friday, April 19, Suffolk County Legislator Anker attended a meeting of the Birchwood Civic Association at the Westfield Clubhouse in Middle Island. Various issues were discussed including open space preservation, traffic safety and health concerns.
“As your elected official, I am here to listen and address your concerns,” Anker said at the meeting. “I will continue to work with our county departments to ensure a better quality of life.”
Birchwood at Spring Lake is a private gated golf resort community located on Middle Country Road, in the heart of Middle Island. The community has a total of 733 residential units, which include condominiums, townhouses, and free standing homes.
