NCPD Arson Squad Investigates Fire at Milleridge Inn

Jericho, NY - May 14th, 2014 -  Arson/Bomb Squad detectives report the details of a Fire that occurred on May 14, 2014 at 12:22 am in Jericho.

According to detectives Second Precinct officers along with the Jericho Fire Department responded to the Milleridge Inn, 585 N. Broadway, for a fire alarm. Upon arrival the fire department forced entry into the rear kitchen area of the restaurant and observed a fire on top of the stove.

Several neighboring Fire Departments, including East Norwich, Carle Place, Hicksville, Westbury, Plainview, Bethpage and Syosset responded to the scene to assist in extinguishing the fire.

The fire, which was deemed to be non-suspicious, was contained to the kitchen area of the business. As a result, moderate fire and water damage was sustained.
