Police: Cold Spring Harbor Man Arrested for Embezzling Over $200,000 from Connecticut School of Broadcasting

Westbury, NY - May 1, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Cold Spring Harbor man for Grand Larceny that occurred from March 1, 2013 through January 13, 2017 in Westbury.
 
According to Crimes Against Property Squad detectives, Peter Burke, 53, was employed by Dick Robinson Media. He recruited students, enrolled students and handled student accounts. An investigation determined Peter Burke accepted and kept cash payments from students which were meant for the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. The school reported a loss in excess of $220,000 dollars. Burke was arrested without incident.
 
Defendant Peter Burke is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in First District Court, Hempstead.
