Smithtown, NY - May 8, 2015 - Volunteers from throughout Suffolk County came out to support the New York State Parks “I Love My Park” Day on a recent Saturday in May. Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta started his morning at Sunken Meadow State Park where he helped to paint the lifeguard chairs and finished his volunteering at the Nissequogue State Park tending to the gardens. “This is a great day for the parks and I thank all of the people who took the time out of their busy schedules to help get the parks ready for their neighbors and visitors,” said Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta.
