Rockville Centre, NY - May 8th, 2014 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery (Attempt) that occurred on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 11:20 p.m. in Rockville Centre.

According to detectives, the male victim 55 years of age was riding his bicycle in the vicinity of North Park Avenue and Front Street when a black Honda pulled up next to him driven by a male black, with a bald head, and asked him if he had a light. Two other male black suspects exited the rear of the vehicle and began to fight with the victim. He was able to break away and ride to his home nearby. When he arrived home the victim discovered he had been stabbed once in the chest with an unknown object. Victim transported himself to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
