The Green Vale community came out to watch a game of baseball and the Green Vale School Voices performed the National Anthem at Citifield.

Old Brookville, NY - May 3, 2016 - On Tuesday, April 26, the Green Vale School Voices, an elite choral group, under the direction of music teacher Jessica Chen, performed the National Anthem prior to the New York Mets hosting the Cincinnati Reds at CitiField. Although the weather was raw, over 600 members of the Green Vale community came out for the school’s annual Mets Night and had a great time watching the hometown Mets come from behind late to defeat the Reds, 4-3.

"Beyond watching the game it was a reminder for me of the strength of our community as well as the talent of our students," Head of School Dr. Jesse Dougherty said. "The GV Voices who sang the National Anthem to start the game was certainly the highlight for all."
