Hampton Bays Civic Association Offers $1,000 scholarship For that High School Senior

Hampton Bays, NY - April 29th, 2014 - The Hampton Bays Civic Association is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is a full-time Hampton Bays resident.  The winning essay must come from a student who is planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school.

To qualify the applicants must write a 1 to 2 page essay presenting their vision of the future of Hampton Bays ten years from today: "Hampton Bays in the year 2024."

Hampton Bays High School students can obtain a copy of the essay requirements plus the application form that must be submitted with their essay, from their School Guidance Office.  Hampton Bays resident students who do not attend the local high school should have their school guidance office contact Marion Boden at 631-728-0051 for a copy of the guidelines and application.

Important!  The entry deadline is Noon, Thursday May 15th. No late submissions will be accepted.
