Oceanside Man Who Had Plane Parked in Driveway Arrested for Making Threats and Harrassing Town of Hempstead Supervisors

Hempstead, NY - April 26, 2016  - Third Squad detectives report the details of an arrest for aggravated harassment that occurred in Hempstead on Monday, 04/25/16 at 3:00 P.M.

According to detectives, Harold Guretzky, 70, of Oceanside, called the Town of Hempstead Supervisors office on the telephone and verbally threatened two employees with a cross bow.  The defendant had an ongoing dispute with the town over having a small plane parked in his driveway.

Third Squad detectives arrested the defendant on Tuesday, 04/26/16.  He is being charged with two counts of Aggravated Harassment 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Wednesday, 04/27/16 in First District Court, Hempstead.
