Roosevelt Residence Broken Into and Robbed by Two Masked, Armed Men, Cops Say

Reports: two bandits wearing ninja masks and wielding firearms broke into Jefferson Avenue home through basement window.

Roosevelt, NY - April 24, 2017 - The First Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 3:15 am in Roosevelt
 
According to detectives, a 17 year old male victim was asleep in his basement bedroom when 2 unknown subjects armed with two (2) handguns entered the window and demanded money. The subjects began to ransack the room taking the victim’s cell phone and a pair of Timberland boots.  
 
The subjects then brought the victim upstairs and proceeded to take a Sony PlayStation and an Amazon Fire Stick. The subjects then tried to enter another bedroom which was locked. The victim’s father who was inside the locked bedroom called out and the subjects fled the Jefferson Avenue home through the front door in an unknown direction. There were no reported injuries.
 
Subject # 1 is described as a male black, 6’0’ – 6’2” tall, wearing a black ninja mask, dark clothing, muscular build and armed with a semi-automatic handgun.  Subject # 2 is described as a male black, 6’0”-6’2” tall, wearing a black ninja mask, dark clothing and armed with a revolver.
