Garden City, NY - April 21, 2015 - The Public Information Office reports the details of an Unusual Incident that occurred on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 2:21 pm in Garden City.
According to police, the Garden City Police Department responded for a threat to life call at an office building located at 200 Garden City Plaza. Upon arrival the assistance of the Nassau County Police Department was requested for a building search. The Third Precinct Police responded as well as the Emergency Service Unit, Canine Unit, and the Arson Bomb Squad. The building was evacuated and a room by room search was conducted with negative results. The building was later reopened and deemed safe. No threat was discovered. The investigation is ongoing.
