The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Center Moriches man who suffers from dementia.

Johnny Williams, 70, of Center Moriches, suffers from dementia, renal failure and metabolic encephalopathy and may be in need of medical attention. Anyone with information on Williams' whereabouts is asked to call 631-852-8752 or 911.

Update - April 19, 2016 - The New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert on behalf of the Suffolk County Police Department- Headquarters for JOHNNY WILLIAMS is now cancelled as of 10:04 pm on April 19, 2016.

Center Moriches, NY - April 19, 2016 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Center Moriches man who suffers from dementia, renal failure and metabolic encephalopathy and may be in need of medical attention.

Johnny Williams, 70, of Cottontail Run in Center Moriches, was last seen outside of his residence on Monday, April 18, at approximately 12 p.m.  Williams is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has short hair and brown eyes. He has no teeth and was last seen wearing brown sneakers and dark jeans.

Anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts is asked to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or 911. 

As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
