Bronx Man Arrested for Burglarizing Hicksville Store

Hicksville, NY - April 17th, 2015 - The Second Squad reports the details of an Arrest for Burglary that occurred on November 16, 2013 in Hicksville.

According to detectives, a 70 year old employee of USA Variety Discount Store, 37 Woodbury Road, arrived at work and discovered a broken front plate glass window. The victim then discovered that the cash register which contained an undetermined amount of US currency was missing along with several packs of assorted brand cigarettes.

On April 16, 2015, defendant Anthony Cole, 27, of West 167th Street, Bronx was placed under arrest by the New York State Division of Parole for an unrelated charge. He was then transported to the Nassau County Police Department after it was determined that the defendant has an open warrant for the above crime.

The defendant is being charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and will be arraigned on Friday, April 17, 2015 at First District Court, Hempstead.
