Long Beach, NY - April 16, 2014 - The City of Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department has partnered with Trivirtus Solutions Group - An organization of safety professionals, to bring emergency preparedness to each member of the community. The Preparedness Project will be presented to the community in the form of a year-long curriculum of courses, events and certifications including First-Aid and CPR, extreme weather safety and business continuity.

The Preparedness Project community preparedness curriculum will be announced at 1:00 on Saturday April 26th the City of Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department Open House, Family Day & Blood Drive. “We are very excited to be able to bring The Preparedness Project to the City of Long Beach. This initiative will help build a stronger, smarter, more prepared Long Beach.” – Chief of Department, Richard Corbett.
