Mangano Congratulates Elmont Memorial H.S. Boys Varsity Basketball Team On 2016 State Championship

Mineola, NY - April 15, 2016 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano congratulated the Elmont Memorial High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team and Head Coach George Holub for winning the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class A final at the Glens Falls Civic Center on Sunday, March 13th. The team visited the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola to commemorate their win and be recognized for their success.

“It takes tremendous dedication, commitment and hard work from your teammates and coaches to become County, Long Island and Statewide Champions!” said County Executive Mangano. “Nassau County is truly proud to serve as home to the Long Island Class A and New York State Champs!”
