SCPD: Reward Offered for St. James Donation Box Thief

St. James, NY - April 15, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a donation box from a gas station in Saint James
 
A man entered Citgo, located at 545 North Country Road, on March 9 at approximately 1:45 p.m. and took a cancer donation box from the counter that contained cash. The man was described as white, heavy-set and approximately 20 to 30 years old.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
