Correction - April 15, 2014 - The below defendant is not being charged with the below crime. He is being charged with Criminal Mischief that occurred on April 12, 2014 at the same location.

Update - April 15th, 2014 - First Squad detectives report the arrest of Serge Delaleu, 43, of 129 Forest Avenue, Roosevelt in connection with the below incident.

A subsequent investigation by detectives, along with the public’s assistance led to the arrest of Delaleu at his home at 6:22 pm without further incident.

He is charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Making Graffiti and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Delaleu will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 04/15/2014.

Roosevelt, NY - April 14th, 2014 - The First Squad reports the details of a Criminal Mischief that occurred in Roosevelt at 11:00 am on Monday, April 14, 2014.

According to detectives, an unknown person(s) did use black spray paint to write in large letters a racially bias statement on the side of the Western Beef located at 332 Nassau Road.

Detectives request that anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
