NCPD Crime Alert: Roosevelt Shooting Under Investigation

Roosevelt, NY - April 15th, 2014 - First Squad detectives report the details of a shooting incident that occurred in Roosevelt on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 6:00 pm.

According to detectives, a 48 year old female victim was sitting in her living room at her Cottage Place residence when she heard a bang noise outside and then saw dust kick up inside. The victim then noticed a small hole in the wall behind her television that was not there earlier. The victim then called police. Upon arrival of the First Precinct Police it was determined that some unknown person (s) did shoot into the home from the outside. There were no injuries reported. There were no shell casings recovered. The investigation is continuing.
