Authorities Report Masked, Knife-Wielding Bandit Robs Merrick Gamestop

Long Island, NY - April 12, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau reports a robbery that occurred in Merrick on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 8:59 P.M.
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a male subject armed with a large kitchen knife, entered GameStop located at 2212 Sunrise Hwy., approached the clerk and demanded cash from the register. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot eastbound on Sunrise Hwy. towards Henry St., with an undisclosed amount of cash. 
 
There were two employees and no customers present in the store at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
 
The subject is possibly male Hispanic or a light skinned male black, wearing a black hooded jacket, jeans, gray gloves, black knit cap, and dark mask.
