NCPD reports the arrest of Jean Volcy, 36, of Arizona, for a Robbery which occurred on Monday, April 10, in Bellerose Village.

Bellerose, NY - April 10, 2017 - The Third Squad reports the details of an arrest for a Robbery which occurred on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 1:55 am in Bellerose Village.
 
According to detectives, officers responded to Conoco Gas located at 24802 Jericho Turnpike, for an unrelated call, and came upon a robbery in progress. The defendant Jean Volcy, 36, of Touissant, Arizona, displayed a silver firearm and demanded cash. Search incident to arrest, police recovered a handgun, two (2) magazines with ammunition and determined the defendant was wearing a body vest.
 
Defendant Jean Volcy is charged with Robbery 1st degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Wearing of a Body Vest, and two (2) counts Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device.  He will be arraigned Monday, April 10, 2017 at First District Court, Hempstead.
