Bronx Couple Arrested for Selling Prescription Pills to Undercover Cop with Kids in Tow

Elmont, NY - April 9th, 2015 - Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives report the details of two arrests for criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance that occurred in Elmont on 02/22/15 at 3:50 P.M.
 
According to detectives, Michael Ramis, 32, of Garden St. and Crastina Soto, 26, of Garfield St., both of the Bronx, sold Oxycodone pills to an undercover detective for an agreed upon amount of money, with their children, ages 4 and 8, present. The children were released to a family member.
 
Ramis and Soto are each being charged with two counts of Criminal Sale Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. 
 
They will be arraigned on Thursday, 04/09/13 in First District Court, Hempstead.
