Man Wanted for Uniondale Burglary; Posed as Cablevision Employee

Uniondale, NY- April 8, 2014 - The First Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred in Uniondale on Tuesday, April 08, 2014 at 8:24 am.
 
According to detectives, a 74 year old female victim heard a noise inside her Hempstead Boulevard residence and observed an unknown male black inside her screened in porch stating that he was here from Cablevision. The subject then pushed open the door into the house and knocked the victim to the ground. The subject was then observed going through a desk drawer and removed a black purse that contained a cell phone, credit cards, and an undisclosed amount of US currency. The subject then fled the home on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was able to leave and call the police from a neighbor’s home. There were no injuries reported.
 
The male subject is described as being black, 5’8” – 6’ tall, gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, late teens to early twenties.
