SCPD Crime Alert: Suspect Wanted for E. Farmingdale Bank Robbery

East Farmingdale, NY - April 9th, 2014 -  Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate the suspect wanted for an East Farmingdale bank robbery that occurred in January.

Edward Hardy entered M&T Bank, located at 120 Broad Hollow Road, on January 17 at approximately 4 p.m. and approached a teller with a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demands and gave him cash from the drawer.

Hardy, 33, is a heavy-set black male who is 6 feet 4 inches tall.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
