SCPD Crime Alert: 3 Wanted for Attempting to Break Into Vanderbilt Museum

Centerport, NY - April 9th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three people who attempted to enter a museum in Centerport last month.

Two males and one female attempted to enter the Vanderbilt Museum, located at 180 Little Neck Road, on March 16 at approximately 1:20 a.m. The three suspects entered the property by jumping over a fence and fled after they were unable to enter the planetarium due to locked doors and windows.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
