Nassau Coliseum's New $40.00 Parking Fee 'Absurd' and 'Ridiculous', Says Nassau Assemblyman McDonough
Uniondale, NY - April 6, 2017 - “Nassau County’s increase in parking fees for the rebuilt coliseum is offensive and a dictatorial oppression of its valued patrons. As thrilled as I am to see the successful reopening of the newly-renovated Nassau Coliseum, it is imperative that we address the outrageous $40 parking fee for event attendees. For a venue in the public sphere to assess that high a price for parking is nothing short of absurd and ridiculous.
“Lowering parking costs at the Coliseum will be a great step in not only encouraging visitors to attend events at one of Long Island’s premier entertainment destinations, but also driving and ensuring continued economic growth throughout our region.”
