Suspect Arrested for Burglarizing Tri-County Flea Market Kiosk

Levittown, NY - April 6th, 2016 - The Second Squad reports an arrest for Burglary on Tuesday, April 05, 2016 at 3:31 p.m. in Levittown.

According to detectives, on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at 2:15 p.m. a male suspect gained access to “Lily’s Sweats”, a secured kiosk inside the Tri-County Flea Market, located at 3041 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown and proceeded to remove assorted clothing.

He then burned a hole in the locked mesh security gate at “Raj Sweatshirts”, also located in the flea market, and removed assorted clothing. An investigation identified Michael Chartorynsky, 25, of Sunset Lane, Levittown as the suspect.  He was placed under arrest without incident at his residence.

Chartorynsky is charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd degree and Arson 5th degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
