Franklin Square, NY - April 6th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau reports the details of a bank robbery that occurred on Monday, April 06, 2015 at 9:10am in Franklin Square.

According to Robbery Squad Detectives, a male suspect armed with a handgun entered the Citibank located at 670 Franklin Avenue and verbally demanded money from a teller.  After obtaining an undetermined amount of US currency the suspect fled on foot out the rear door of the bank heading north towards the Franklin Gates shopping center.  There were five employees and five customers present at the time of the Robbery.  No injuries were reported.

The male suspect is described as having a thin build, 5’7” – 5’10”, wearing a gray hoodie style sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, gloves and a dark colored mask.
