Carle Place Sandwich Shop Robbed by Knife-Wielding Suspect, NCPD Say
Carle Place, NY – March 29, 2017 – The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 5:53 p.m. in Carle Place.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a male subject (unknown race) armed with a knife entered the Subway located at 347 Old Country Road, approached the 37 year old male victim and demanded money from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of US currency, the subject left the store and was last seen walking north on Cherry Lane. No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as 5’8”- 5’9” tall, stocky build wearing a dark waist length jacket, light colored cargo pants, dark scarf covering face and gloves.
