SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Shoplifting from Medford Pharmacy

Medford, NY - March 27th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole merchandise from the Rite Aid store in Medford.

A man entered Rite Aid, located at 2799 Route 112, on March 19, 2014, and took assorted razors and over-the-counter medications off the shelves and placed them into a shopping bag. The suspect left the store without paying for the merchandise. The merchandise is valued at more than $1500.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, with a bald or shaved head. He was wearing a dark-colored snorkel-type jacket with a fur-trimmed hood.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
