Lindenhurst, NY - March 26, 2015 - At his district office, Suffolk County Legislator Kevin J. McCaffrey (R-Lindenhurst) had a very special opportunity to thank employees and franchisees of 7-11for their many contributions to the community.

The stores run by 7-11 are a common sight across Suffolk County, and even the world abroad. However, 7-11 does a lot more for our communities aside from providing friendly and convenient service. During Hurricane Sandy, 7-11s from all over Suffolk County – and beyond – generously donated food and supplies to those ravaged by the storm, as well as to thoseproviding relief. Additionally, 7-11 stores such as those owned and operated by the Milazzo brothers, are continually working to raise food or funds for veterans, and to anyone who may be in need.

“The people of 7-11 have created a phenomenal business model – one that can allow a business to thrive and give back to the community simultaneously,” said McCaffrey. “I know how important it is to have such generosity in the community, because in the days following

Superstorm Sandy, 7-11 was there on the spot with not only food, but with caring people to lift everyone’s spirits. I applaud 7-11’s continued efforts, especially those related to helping our veterans. I am thankful for 7-11’s generosity, and I wish them the best of luck and much success.”
