Help Support the Arts - Volunteers Needed at Bay Street Theatre

Written by Long Island News & PR  |  26. March 2014

Sag Harbor, NY - March 26, 2014 - Bay Street Theatre is busily working on preparing an exciting 2014 Mainstage Season along with many other projects.  Reliable volunteers are needed to help out to usher, assist in special events, or work in the office or marketing outreach. A volunteer meeting will be held at the theatre on Thursday, April 24 at 5 pm for anyone interested in meeting some of the Bay Street Theatre staff and finding out more information.

“So many people say to me, I don’t have money to help,” says Tracy Mitchell Executive Director, “but we have a great option! All you need is to have time and enjoy working in a fun environment. If you’ve got that, I’m sure we’ve got a task you’ll enjoy doing—from ushering at shows, to daytime work with phone calling or putting up posters---there’s lots to get done.”

"If you love and appreciate great theater, become a Bay Street volunteer,” says Barbara Oldak, Volunteer Coordinator. “It is a wonderful way to support the arts in this community."

Please email Barbara Oldak, Volunteer Coordinator, at Barbara@baystreet.org if you are interested in volunteering for 2014 and she’ll find a job that’s fun for you!
