Update - March 26, 2014 - The Robbery Squad reports the arrest of Patricia A. Hernandez, 45, of 877 Willow Bend Lane, Baldwin, for the above listed crime. She was placed under arrest without incident on Voshage Street in Baldwin on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 7:45 P.M. with the assistance of the Bureau of Special Operations.
East Meadow, NY - March 24th, 2014 - The Robbery Squad is investigating a bank Robbery that occurred on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 12:10 PM in East Meadow.
According to detectives, an unknown female subject entered the TD Bank located at 2549 Hempstead Turnpike and showed a demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undetermined amount of US currency, the subject fled the scene in an unknown direction possibly in a dark colored auto. The subject is described as a female black, medium to dark complexion, 5’4” – 5’6” tall, in her 40’s, slim build, wearing a gray scarf, dark colored sweater and dark colored jeans. There were 6 employees and 2 customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no reported injuries.
