NCPD Searching for Man Who Broke Into Elmont Home

The individual broke into a the residence's kitchen, but fled when he was seen.

Elmont, NY - March 22, 2016 - The Fifth Squad is investigating an attempted Burglary that occurred on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 1:28 p.m. in Elmont.
 
According to detectives, a worker in a Keller Avenue residence heard the doorbell ring but did not answer it. Two minutes later she heard a loud bang in the kitchen. When she entered the kitchen she observed the rear door had been kicked in and a male white subject, 6’0’ tall, dressed in all black was standing in the doorway. The subject fled on foot southbound on Keller Avenue with no proceeds. There were no injuries reported.
