Police have nabbed an online drug dealer in a buy-and-bust sting operation on Wednesday at the parking lot of Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City.

Michael Ohara, 24, of Bayside, Queens was arrested at 5:15 p.m. at the mall’s parking lot near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

According to police, Ohara advertised anti-anxiety pills for sale on Craigslist. Investigating detectives set up a meeting with Ohara at the mall for the sale where he presented 30 yellow pills believed to be the controlled substance Alprazolam.

During the arrest, police also observed a bottle with additional pills of the same kind as Ohara’s vehicle was being secured.

Ohara is being charged with fifth degree criminal sale of a controlled substance today at an arraignment at the First District Court in Hempstead.

Alprazolam is typically used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and nausea due to chemotherapy. It also goes by the trade name Xanax.
