Woodbury, NY - March 20,  2014 - Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) announces its 7th Annual New York Metro Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon to be held on Thursday, March 27th at Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Turnpike Woodbury, NY 11797 from 12-4pm. It will include the following Departments: NYPD, NCPD, SCPD, and NYSP.

This event is about recognizing the good work of over 70 Law Enforcement professionals from Montauk Point to New York City who have shown outstanding dedication to DWI enforcement, prosecution and education. This annual event takes the time to recognize and thank those who are working so hard to keep our streets safe from the horrors of drunk driving.

This year, MADD’s National President, Jan Withers, will be in attendance to personally award each recipient. Jan will also present a mission moment.

“MADD’s Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving endorses and encourages high-visibility law enforcement and continuing diligence on the part of our police, prosecutors and probation professionals.” says Richard C. Mallow, MADD New York State Executive Director. “This annual event is our way of saying thanks to those who dedicate their lives to this important work.”
